Various areas of the country experienced strong to very strong northeasterly winds on Wednesday, which caused dust storms and reduced horizontal visibility to less than 2,000 metres at times until 7pm on Wednesday.
The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) predicts that Thursday's weather will be dusty and partly cloudy and humid at night and on Friday morning in the interior regions, with a chance of light fog in the west.
Winds will be easterly to northeasterly, light to moderate, and occasionally active, with speeds ranging from 10 to 25 kilometres/h, amounting to 40 kilometres/h, which will be dusty and may reduce horizontal visibility, especially in the east, in the Arabian Gulf and in the Sea of Oman.
Friday's weather is expected to be partly cloudy and dusty at times and humid at night and on Saturday morning in some interior and coastal regions, with a chance of light fog in the west.
Winds will be easterly to northeasterly, light to moderate, and occasionally active, with speeds ranging from 10 to 25 kilometres/h, amounting to 35 kilometres/h and the sea will be moderate to light in the Arabian Gulf and in the Sea of Oman.
The NCM indicates that Saturday's weather will be clear to partly cloudy and humid at night and on Sunday morning in some interior and coastal regions, with a chance of light fog.
Winds will be northeasterly and easterly, turning into northwesterly, light to moderate, and occasionally active, with speeds ranging from 10 to 25 kilometres/h, amounting to 35 kilometres/h and the sea will be light to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and light in the Sea of Oman.
Sunday's weather is expected to be clear to partly cloudy and humid at night and on Monday morning in some interior and coastal regions, with a chance of light fog.
Winds will be northeasterly to northwesterly, light to moderate, with speed ranging from 10 to 20 kilometres/h, amounting to 30 kilometres/h and the sea will be light in the Arabian Gulf and in the Sea of Oman.
