Ajman Police returned a 7-year-old Asian child to his parents after being missing in Al Manama, Ajman.
According to Lieutenant Colonel Mohammed Rashid Al Matroushi, Head of Al Manama Comprehensive Police Station, a Gulf citizen came to the station accompanied by an Asian child, stating that he had found him lost on the public road in Al Manama area.
The child was received, provided with the necessary care, and given a meal until his parents were found, he said.
Since no report on a missing child was received, the station initiated investigations to reach his parents in the area. After they had been identified, the child’s parents were contacted and he was handed over within less than an hour.
With overwhelming joy, the family received the child and thanked the police for their efforts in returning the child to his parents’ arms, pledging to take care of him and look after him.
The station thanked the Gulf citizen who found the child for the wise decision when he immediately contacted the police.
Al Matroushi called on families never to leave their children unattended and to close the doors tightly to prevent their children from going out and facing multiple dangers in case they are busy.
