Car cleaner stabbed to death for asking 10 Egyptian Pounds from motorist

The Greater Cairo area witnessed a shocking incident where a young man lost his life because he asked a car driver for 10 pounds in exchange for cleaning his car windows.

The incident began when the victim, Magdy, 30, stopped to do his work cleaning car windows in one of the streets of Shubra El-Kheima, and when the accused, 42, arrived, he asked him to get his wages, which angered the latter.

The car owner asked the victim to stop asking him for money, and threatened to hurt him if he continued talking to him.

Magdy continued to ask him. This further angered the motorist so he decided to stab the cleaner, according to the police.

According to eyewitnesses, the motorist came out of the car, took a knife out of his pocket and stabbed Magdy, killing him on the spot, amid the shock and astonishment of passersby.

The security services arrested the accused, and he was referred to the Public Prosecution to conduct investigations in preparation for bringing him to trial.
