SRTA announces temporary closure of key exit to Muweilah on Sharjah-Al Dhaid Road

The Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority (SRTA) has announced the temporary closure of the exit leading to Muweilah on Sharjah-Al Dhaid Road, as part of the infrastructure development works in the area.

The closure which will be implemented from Thursday, Feb.6, 2025, until Monday, Feb.10, 2025, is to implement the necessary improvements to ensure the smooth flow of traffic and enhance the efficiency of the roads.

The SRTA invited all road users to use the alternative routes shown in the attached diagram, and to follow the traffic signs and instructions to avoid any potential traffic congestion.

The authority has also emphasised the importance of adhering to traffic safety guidelines to ensure smooth movement and travel during the works.

The SRTA apologised for any inconvenience which may result from these works, assuring that the measure is part of its ongoing plans to develop the infrastructure and enhance the quality of the road network in the emirate, adding that these efforts contribute to improving the users' experience and ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality.
