VIDEO: Abu Dhabi Police highlight dangers of sudden, reckless swerving of vehicles

In a joint effort with the Monitoring and Control Centre, the Abu Dhabi Police have utilised the "Your Comment" initiative and the "Be Road Safe 2" campaign to disseminate a video exemplifying accidents that take place as a consequence of sudden deviation and failure to adhere to the mandatory lane (i.e. ensuring the road is clear prior to overtaking).

The Traffic and Security Patrols Directorate of Abu Dhabi Police has issued a set of guidelines for drivers, emphasising the importance of avoiding sudden swerving, ensuring proper overtaking procedures, maintaining clear roadways when changing lanes, and avoiding reckless lane changes that could compromise driver safety. It also underscores the necessity of using the designated lane when transitioning between roads.
