His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Monday welcomed the guests of the World Governments Summit, which begins today Tuesday with record international participation.
“We welcome the guests of the World Governments Summit, which begins today with record international participation of more than 30 heads of state and 140 government delegations including 400 ministers who will interact with heads of global companies and international organisations through more than 200 sessions in all future sectors,” Sheikh Mohammed tweeted on the X platform.
The goal is clear and is embodied in enhancing global co-operation, building expertise, developing relationships and drawing inspiration from experiences with a view to improving the life of communities, Sheikh Mohammed said, welcoming the governments of the world to Dubai and the UAE.
According to WAM, the Summit is being held under the theme "Shaping Future Governments."
Running until 14th February, the 12th edition of the summit brings together heads of state and government, international and regional organisations, global institutions, and leading experts to explore key future trends in governance and critical sectors.
The opening day features multiple forums, including the Future of Work Forum, Government Experience Exchange Forum, Government Services Forum, Future of Government Communication Forum, Artificial Intelligence Forum, Future of Education Forum, Future of Mobility Forum, and Gender Balance Forum.
