UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan met on Wednesday with several leaders and heads of delegations participating in the World Governments Summit (WGS) 2025, being held in Dubai under the theme ‘Shaping Future Governments.’
"I was pleased to attend the World Governments Summit 2025, and I commend my brother Mohammed Bin Rashid for creating a prominent global platform to advance dialogue on collective solutions to achieve a better future. In bringing together governments, innovators, and thought leaders, the UAE is committed to strengthening international cooperation in efforts to foster progress and prosperity for all," Sheikh Mohamed wrote on X.
During the summit, Sheikh Mohamed met separately with Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al Ahmad Al Sabah, Prime Minister of the State of Kuwait; Gustavo Petro Urrego, President of the Republic of Colombia; Andrzej Duda, President of the Republic of Poland; and Masrour Barzani, Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.

Discussions focused on cooperation between the UAE and their respective countries, exploring ways to strengthen ties to serve mutual interests, particularly in economic, trade, and development sectors, as well as other areas that support sustainable economic growth and prosperity.
