A 32-year-old woman in US shot at her four daughters, resulting in the demise of three of them and then committed suicide. The gory incident happen in Byron, Wyoming.
The fourth daughter has been admitted to the intensive care unit in a critical condition.
Investigations revealed that Tranielle Harshman, discharged a firearm at her four children, two-year-old twins and two girls aged seven and nine, before contacting the emergency services and reporting the incident, stating that she intended to end her own life.
Police discovered two deceased girls, aged 2 and 9, respectively, with gunshot wounds to the head.
The other two girls were found to be critically injured, and one of these subsequently succumbed to her injuries, while the mother survived but perished in hospital due to her injuries.
The 7-year-old, Olivia, is currently in a critical condition in a hospital in Utah, according to USA TODAY.
The investigation revealed that Tranielle Harshman was suffering from psychological problems, including postpartum depression. However, the true motivation behind the crime remains unclear.
Brianna Baker, a friend of the mother's, stated that it is impossible to ascertain the contents of another person's mind.
Despite the tragic nature of the incident, Tranelle was not a bad person; she was a loving and humorous individual, and her daughters occupied a central position in her life.
