Dubai police have shut down four printing houses for violating the laws regarding the printing of massage cards, affirming that Authorities have taken strict measures to combat negative practices related to the distribution of massage cards.
The police said they are collaborating with partners to combat these practices and have warned individuals dealing with them for printing such cards that they might face legal consequences.
The police pointed out that they are committed to combating negative practices and ensuring the safety and security of the community.
They have urged the public to report any negative practices, such as the distribution or pasting of promotional cards for massage services in public areas, by contacting the toll-free number 901 or use the "Police Eye" service available on the Dubai Police app to report such negative behaviours.
Dubai Police have warned against communicating with the numbers listed on the massage cards, as this might lead to individuals becoming victims of theft or extortion.
The General Department of Criminal Investigation and Forensics has allegedly formed a team to receive reports regarding various negative practices around the clock, demonstrating their commitment to protecting the community and maintaining law and order in the emirate.
The public can contact the call centre 901, which is allocated to non-emergency cases and receives reports from the public through specialised staff working 24/7.
