Distance learning for public schools in UAE on Fridays during Ramadan

The Ministry of Education has announced the introduction of a new initiative, entitled "Ramadan with the Family."

The objective of this initiative is to enhance the distance learning experience during the holy month of Ramadan for students enrolled in public schools. According to the initiative's guidelines, each Friday during the month of Ramadan is to be designated as a day for distance learning, with the exception of students whose exam schedules have been approved during Fridays during the holy month.

The Ministry's objective is to cultivate a distinctive Ramadan atmosphere, whilst also fostering the bond between students and their families by engaging parents in student activities. This endeavour is facilitated through a disseminated guide comprising a selection of activities that permit students and their families to partake in collective educational and pedagogical events.

The initiative aims to activate the atmosphere of the month of Ramadan within Emirati families through activities that combine education and entertainment, and help build a warm educational environment that encourages creativity and continuous learning.
