The Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority (SRTA) has announced the closure of the entrance to Bridge 5 on Sharjah-Dhaid Road, leading to Al Qurain 2 and Al Falah areas, as part of infrastructure development works in the area.
The closure is scheduled to commence on Thursday, Feb.27, 2025 and is expected to last until Monday, March 3, 2025. The objective of the works is to enhance the quality of the roads and improve traffic safety in the region.
In a post on its social media accounts, the SRTA requested that all drivers and road users utilise the alternative routes indicated in the attached plan and adhere to the traffic signs and guidance to avoid any potential congestion.
The Authority emphasised its commitment to completing the project in a timely manner, with the objective of minimising the impact on traffic.
They also underscored the significance of cooperation and adherence to traffic instructions, emphasising the necessity of ensuring public safety.
