Sharjah to launch new vehicle registration plates on March 3

In line with the new identity of the Emirate of Sharjah, Sharjah Police has launched the new vehicle registration plates in the emirate, which can be obtained by replacing the old ones, starting from Monday, March 3, 2025.

The new registration plates are designed to reflect the modern and innovative image of Sharjah. They feature a sleek and contemporary design, incorporating advanced technology to enhance security and prevent fraud.

They also include unique features such as a QR code, which provides easy access to vehicle information and improves the overall efficiency of the registration process.

Sharjah Police encourage all vehicle owners to update their registration plates to the new design, as they are not only enhance the visual appeal of their vehicles but also contribute to the overall development and progress of the emirate.

This initiative is part of the government's efforts to modernise and streamline various services, including vehicle registration.
