The Sharjah Charity Association has distributed 33,000 Iftar meals in 136 locations in the Emirate of Sharjah during the first day of the Holy Month of Ramadan.
The initiative is a part of a million meals that the association aims to distribute throughout the Holy Month of Ramadan.
The association confirmed that it is following up on the distribution process through dedicated committees that monitor all stages of implementation and ensure that they are distributed in the required manner.
The committees ensure that the whole process is carried out in the prescribed manner and addresses any shortcomings that may arise in the project.
Abdullah Sultan Bin Khadem, Executive Director of the Association, said “the Iftar project is one of the most prominent initiatives that we are carrying out during the Holy Month of Ramadan with the aim of enhancing social solidarity, and we are keen to ensure that meals are provided with the highest standards of quality and safety to ensure the satisfaction of the beneficiaries.”
