Sharjah Police honour Arab woman for her honesty

Colonel Hamad Bin Qasmoul, Director of Comprehensive Police Stations Department at Sharjah Police, honoured Lama Mohammed Zuhair Shalish, an Arab woman, in appreciation of her honesty after she found a sum of money and handed it over to a police station.

Praising the woman’s noble behaviour, Bin Qasmoul affirmed that the honouring came as part of Sharjah Police’s methodology in appreciating the society members who co-operate with them and activating the role of community partnership between the police and the public.

He called on the public to co-operate with the police departments in the event that they find any lost items or money belonging to others by immediately handing the same over to the nearest police station to avoid legal accountability.

For her part, the Arab woman expressed her thanks and appreciation to Sharjah Police for honouring her, stressing that what she did was a moral duty and a social responsibility that requires everyone to co-operate with the police in order to enhance the security and safety of society.
