Dubai Police honour two young men for spreading traffic awareness

The General Department of Traffic at Dubai Police honoured two young men for preparing an awareness video on AI-operated technical traffic control systems (radars) and their detected violations and posting it on social media in a bid to enhancing road safety.

Brigadier Essam Ibrahim Al Awar, Acting Deputy Director of General Department of Traffic, honoured the two young men, Zayed Al Raisi and Abdul Rahman Al Wadi, in the presence of Brigadier Eng. Mohammed Ali Karam, Director of the Traffic Technology Department, and Colonel Mohammed Abdullah Al Qaidi, Director of Bur Dubai Patrols Department,.

Earlier, the two young men prepared the awareness video with the aim of familiarizing the public with the new violations that are now being detected by the radars. The video recorded over 726,000 views.

Praising the efforts of the two young men in preparing the awareness video, Al Awar stressed that the honouring came as part of Dubai Police’s ongoing keenness to enhance communication with all segments of society and thank them for their efforts.
