The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) forecasts light rain over the next three days, with partly cloudy to cloudy weather at times due to the impact of an extension of a low-pressure system from the west, accompanied by an extension of a weak upper-level low-pressure system.
The NCM indicated that Monday's weather would be partly cloudy to cloudy at times over some coastal regions and islands with a chance of light rains while winds will be southeasterly to northeasterly, light to moderate, occasionally becoming strong and stirring dust during the day, with speed ranging from 10 to 25, amounting to 40 kilometres/h.
The sea is expected to be moderate to rough in the Arabian Gulf and calm to moderate, occasionally becoming rough in the Sea of Oman.
Tuesday's weather is expected to be partly cloudy to cloudy at times over some northern, coastal, and island regions with a chance of light rains and will be humid at night and on Wednesday morning over some coastal and inland regions with a chance of light fog.
Winds will be southeasterly to northeasterly, light to moderate, occasionally becoming strong, with speed ranging from 10 to 20, amounting to 35 kilometres/h and the sea will be calm to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and calm in the Sea of Oman.
Wednesday's weather is predicted to be partly cloudy to cloudy at times over some northern, eastern, coastal, and island regions with a chance of light rains, along with a gradual decrease in temperatures. It will be humid at night and on Thursday morning over some coastal and inland regions.
Winds are reported to be southeasterly, shifting to northwesterly, light to moderate, occasionally becoming strong, especially over the sea, with speed ranging from 10 to 25, amounting to 40 kilometres/h and the sea will be moderate to rough at times in the Arabian Gulf and calm to moderate in the Sea of Oman.
Thursday's weather, according to the NCM, will be partly cloudy to cloudy at times over some northern, eastern, coastal, and island regions with a chance of light rains during the day, and will be humid at night and on Friday morning over some inland regions with a chance of light fog.
Wind will be northwesterly, light to moderate, occasionally becoming strong and stirring dust with speed ranging from 10 to 25kilometres/h, amounting to 40 kilometres/h and the sea will be moderate to rough at times in the Arabian Gulf and in the Sea of Oman.
