Various areas across the United Arab Emirates experienced light rainfall on Tuesday, for the third consecutive day, as a result of the country being affected by an extension of a low-pressure system from the west, accompanied by an extension of a weak upper-level low-pressure system.
Jebel Jais in Ras Al Khaimah recorded the lowest temperature in the country on Tuesday morning, at 13.8°C at 3:15am, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).
The NCM forecasts that Wednesday's weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy at times, with a chance of light to moderate rainfall on some regions, especially coastal and northern regions.
Winds will be northwesterly, light to moderate, and occasionally active, stirring dust, with speed ranging from 10 to 25, amounting to 40 kilometres/h and the sea will be moderate, occasionally rough, in the Arabian Gulf and calm to moderate in the Sea of Oman.
Thursday's weather is expected to be partly cloudy to cloudy at times, with a chance of light rainfall during the day on some areas, along with a gradual decrease in temperatures, the NCM reported.
Winds will be northwesterly, light to moderate, and occasionally active, stirring dust, with speed ranging from 10 to 25, amounting to 40 kilometres/h and the sea will be moderate, occasionally rough, in the Arabian Gulf and calm to moderate in the Sea of Oman.
Friday's weather is predicted to be clear to partly cloudy at times, and humid at night and on Saturday morning, with a chance of light fog or mist on some coastal and inland areas.
Winds will be northwesterly, light to moderate, and occasionally active, with speed ranging from 10 to 25, amounting to 35 kilometres/h and the sea will be moderate to calm in the Arabian Gulf and calm in the Sea of Oman.
The NCM also predicts that Saturday's weather will be clear to partly cloudy at times, and humid at night and on Sunday morning, with a chance of light fog on some coastal and inland areas.
Winds will be northwesterly to northeasterly, light to moderate, and occasionally active, with speed ranging from 10 to 25, amounting to 40 kilometres/h and the sea will be calm in the Arabian Gulf and in the Sea of Oman.
