The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has expected that the region will be impacted by an upper air depression extending from the west, accompanied by diverse cloud formations and a comparatively cold air mass, along with an extension of a surface air depression from the southwest.
According to the NCM, the weather from Sunday night until Monday will be partly cloudy to cloudy, with predominantly light to moderate rainfall falling across scattered areas of the country, potentially heavy in limited regions, particularly in the northern and eastern regions.
It is also expected that winds will be southeasterly to northeasterly, turning northwesterly, light to moderate in speed, and may cause dust storms on land. Sea will be light to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman, the NCM said.
