The UAE ranked 21st worldwide and 1st in the Arab world in the 2025 World Happiness Report issued by the Well-being Research Centre – University of Oxford in partnership with Gallup and the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Solutions Network.
The UAE came ahead of the United States, Germany and the United Kingdom.
The UAE achieved good results in the classification, which analyzed data related to such aspects as the quality of life assessment, in which it scored 6.759 points out of 10 points, social support (92), per capita gross domestic product (7) and freedom (23). The UAE ranked 19th in willingness to donate, 16th in volunteering hours and 12th in recovering lost items.
The top 30 countries on the World Happiness Report for 2025 are Finland, Denmark, Iceland, Sweden, Netherlands, Costa Rica, Norway, Israel, Luxembourg, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, Switzerland, Belgium, Ireland, Lithuania, Austria, Canada, Slovenia, Czech Republic, UAE, Germany, United Kingdom, United States, Belize, Poland, Taiwan, Uruguay, Kosovo, Kuwait.
