Al Ain Court of First Instance ordered a man to compensate another with Dhs50,000, after he assaulted him and caused injuries including a fracture in the right ulna and tibia, which incapacitated him from working for a period not exceeding twenty days.
The appellee had previously been convicted under a criminal judgment.
In detail, a man filed a lawsuit against another, requesting that he be compelled to pay compensation of Dhs100,000 for the injuries outlined in the medical report, in addition to fees and expenses.
He stated that the appellee had assaulted him and caused injuries which incapacitated him from working for a period not exceeding twenty days.
Regarding the compensation request, the court stated that Dhs50,000 is sufficient compensation for all the injuries outlined in the medical report.
Therefore, the appellee was ordered to pay the amount to the plaintiff.
