Various regions of the country experienced light to moderate rainfall on Sunday, a consequence of the country being impacted by the extension of a shallow air depression from the west and an air height from the east, accompanied by a weak air depression in the upper atmosphere.
Precipitation was observed on Dayyinah Island, Qurnain Island, Abu Al Abyad Island, Mahimat Island, Arzana Island, Das Island, Nawari Island, Al Wahil Island, Al Tawila, Al Samih and Ghantoot in Abu Dhabi, west Bu Al Nadhra, west Bu Hassa, Al Aif, west Bu Al Dhiyab, Tatid, Madinat Zayed and Bedea Saif in Al Dhafra region, Al Quaa in Al Ain, Al Hamriya in Sharjah, and Al Halah and Al Tayyiba in Fujairah.
The lowest temperature recorded in the country was 15.9°C, observed at Jebel Jais in Ras Al Khaimah at 07:45 am on Sunday.
The National Centre for Meteorology (NCM) has expected that the weather on Monday, will be partly cloudy to cloudy at times, with the possibility of light rain, particularly in the west and on islands.
