Drizzles to moderate rain fell on Monday on separate areas across the country for the second day in a row, while the coastal and inland areas experienced fog formation and poor horizontal visibility, which did not exist sometimes for 3 hours from 6am until 9am.
The rain fell on Abu Al Abyad island, western Mushairef, Al Bahrani island, Saadiyat island, Industrial City of Abu Dhabi, Madinat Zayed, Khalifa City, Shakhbout City, Mohamed Bin Zayed City and Musaffah in Abu Dhabi; Al Mirfa, northwestern Asab, Habshan, Abu Qareen, Um Laila and Al Ruwais in Al Dhafra Region; Al Khazna in Al Ain; Al Qulai’a in Sharjah; and Al Hamraniya, Wadi Shaam and Wadi Qada’ah in Ras Al Khaimah.
The lowest temperature of 12.9 degrees Celsius was recorded in Jebel Jais in Ras Al Khaimah at 5am on Monday.
Tuesday’s weather is expected to be clear in general to partly cloudy and dusty at times during the day but will be humid at night and on Wednesday morning in inland areas with a chance of light fog.
Moderate northwesterly winds will blow, turning to strong at times offshore and dust-stirring onshore during the day at 15 to 30 and up to 50 km/h, while the sea will be very rough to rough in the Arabian Gulf and rough in the Sea of Oman.
Wednesday’s weather will be clear to partly cloudy at times but will be humid at night and on Thursday morning in some inland and coastal areas with a chance of fog or light fog.
Light to moderate northwesterly winds will blow, turning to active at times offshore during the day at 10 to 20 and up to 40 km/h, while the sea will be rough to one of moderate waves in the Arabian Gulf and regular waves in the Sea of Oman.
Thursday’s weather will be clear in general with clouds appearing in the east during the day and a slight rise in temperature but will be humid at night and on Friday morning in some coastal and inland areas with a chance of fog or light fog.
Light to moderate northwesterly to northeasterly winds will blow, turning to active at times at 10 to 25 and up to 35 km/h, while the sea will have regular to moderate waves in the Arabian Gulf and regular waves in the Sea of Oman.
Friday’s weather is expected to be clear in general with clouds appearing in the east during the day but will be humid at night and on Saturday morning in some coastal and inland areas with a chance of fog or light fog.
Light to moderate southeasterly to northwesterly winds will blow, turning to active at times at 10 to 25 and up to 35 km/h, while the sea will have regular waves in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
