The UAE has been ranked as the second safest country worldwide for 2025, as indicated in a report by the global statistics website (Numbeo), which assigned it a score of 84.5 out of 100 points.
This ranking can be attributed to the country's strict legal framework, effective police force, and the implementation of advanced surveillance technologies to ensure security.
Andorra has been ranked as the safest country worldwide, with a score of 84.7, followed by Qatar (84.2), Taiwan (82.9), and Oman (81.7).
The Numbeo ranking is based on several criteria, including how safe residents and visitors feel when travelling day and night, levels of violent crime such as murder, robbery and physical assault, as well as discrimination and property crime.
The UAE's position as a safe place to live, invest and visit is further confirmed by its position in the global ranking, with its tough approach to crime and advanced security policies making it one of the most stable and secure countries in the world.
