The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) warned on Tuesday of active northwesterly and stirring up dust winds, reducing horizontal visibility to less than 3,000 metres at times in some inland and coastal areas.
The lowest temperature recorded in the country was 6.4°C on Jebel Al Mebrah in Ras Al Khaimah, at 4:45 a.m. on Tuesday.
The NCM forecasts that Wednesday's weather will be clear to partly cloudy at times, with humidity at night and on Thursday morning with a chance of fog or light fog formation in some inland and coastal areas.
Winds will be northwesterly, light to moderate, and occasionally active over the sea during the day, with speeds ranging from 10 to 20 kilometres/h, amounting to 40 kilometres/h and the sea will be rough to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and moderate to light in the Sea of Oman.
According to the NCM, Thursday's weather will be generally clear and partly cloudy at times, with a slight rise in temperatures, while it will be humid at night and on Friday morning, with a chance of fog or light fog formation in some coastal and inland areas.
Winds will be northwesterly to northeasterly, light to moderate, and occasionally active, with speeds ranging from 10 to 25 kilometres/h, amounting to 35 kilometres/h and the sea will be light in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
The NCM expects Friday's weather to be generally clear and partly cloudy at times, with humidity at night and on Saturday morning with a chance of fog or light fog formation in some coastal and inland areas, especially in the west.
Winds will be southeasterly, turning into northwesterly, light to moderate, with speeds ranging from 10 to 20 kilometres/h, amounting to 30 kilometres/h and the sea will be light in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
Saturday's weather is expected to be generally clear and partly cloudy at times, with humidity at night and on Sunday morning, with a chance of fog or light fog formation in some coastal and inland areas, especially in the west.
Winds will be southeasterly to northeasterly, light to moderate, and occasionally active, with speeds ranging from 10 to 25 kilometres/h, amounting to 35 kilometres/h and the sea will be light in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
