Fog reduces visibility in several areas of UAE; lowest temperature 9.6°C recorded in Barakah 2

Several coastal and inland areas across the UAE experienced fog formation on Friday morning, reducing horizontal visibility to less than 1,000 metres at times, from 3:00am to 9:30am.
This was due to the influence of weak surface pressure systems, accompanied by an upper-level high-pressure system.
Fog was reported in Al Ajban, Razeen, Arjan, and Al Ain Road in Abu Dhabi, Madinat Zayed, Ghayathi, Sheikha Salama Bint Hamdan Road, BuHasa, Umm Al Hisan, Al Zarrafa, Asab, Abu Qurayn, Hameem, Jisoura, Mukhayriz, Badaa Daafs, and Tel Al Sarab in Al Dhafra region, Naama Road in Al Ain, and Emirates Road, Jebel Ali, and Al Manhad in Dubai.
The lowest temperature recorded in the country was 9.6°C in Barakah 2, Al Dhafra region, at 6:30am on Friday.
The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) predicts that Saturday's weather will be generally clear, partly cloudy at times, with clouds appearing in the east during the afternoon and humid at night and on Sunday morning, with a chance of fog or light fog formation in some coastal and western inland areas.
Winds will be southeasterly to northeasterly, light to moderate, with speeds ranging from 10 to 20 kilometres/h, amounting to 30 kilometres/h and the waves will be calm in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.

Sunday's weather is expected to be generally clear, partly cloudy at times, and humid at night and on Monday morning in some coastal areas.
Winds will be southeasterly to northeasterly, light to moderate, with speeds ranging from 10 to 20 kilometres/h, amounting to 30 kilometres/h and the waves will be calm in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
Monday's weather will be generally clear, partly cloudy at times.

For Tuesday, the NCM predicts generally clear weather, partly cloudy at times and southeasterly to northeasterly winds, light to moderate, occasionally active during the day and stirring up dust, with speed ranging from 10 to 25 kilometres/h, amounting to 40 kilometres/h and the waves will be calm in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
