Abu Dhabi Police urge parents to protect their children from dangers of drugs

Abu Dhabi Police (ADP) have warned against the curiosity which leads to experimenting with drugs and destruction, calling on families to monitor their children’s behaviour to protect them from drugs.

The police alerted the public to the exploitation of social media platforms and applications by criminal networks to promote drugs, sending random messages on social media, containing images, videos, and voice messages, to advertise drugs and falsely claim they can deliver narcotics anywhere in the country.

ADP emphasised the need for heightened awareness and urged families to play an active role in safeguarding their sons and daughters from falling victim to such criminal activities.
