Key road connecting Dubai to Sharjah temporarily closed due to accident

Sharjah Police General Headquarters announced the temporary closure of a major road linking Dubai to Sharjah following an accident on Thursday.

Police reported that the accident occurred on Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Road (E311) at the point separating the two emirates.

Due to the accident, the road entrance for drivers heading from Dubai to Sharjah was closed to ensure safety and facilitate emergency response efforts.

Police urged motorists to exercise caution while driving and to use alternative routes until the closed road is reopened. Details of the accident are not disclosed by the police so far.
