Fire in Sharjah warehouse brought under control

Sharjah civil defence teams brought under full control a fire that broke out in a fruit and vegetable warehouse in the industrial area 15 on Sunday afternoon. No casualties were reported as a result of the fire.

According to Sharjah Civil Defence Authority, the operations room received a report at 1:27pm on Sunday, stating that a fire erupted in a warehouse containing refrigerators used for cooling fruits and vegetables.

Firefighting teams rushed to the site and began dealing with the fire with high professionalism until they managed to bring the fire under full control within minutes from their arrival and prevented it from spreading to the neighbouring sites.

The authority also took the necessary measures to secure the entire site.
