Major General Abdullah Mubarak Bin Amer, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, expressed his deepest thanks and appreciation to His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for his continuous boosts to the command.
He also thanked him for his decision to update the military ranks within Sharjah Police, security forces and regulatory bodies in the emirate by removing two non-commissioned officer ranks, which provides an opportunity for military personnel to advance to higher ranks, and reach the ranks of officers.
Bin Amer revealed that Sheikh Sultan’s decision to remove the ranks would be issued and take effect within a month, enabling beneficiaries to reach the ranks of officers and saving them eight years of work to reach higher ranks.
The decision is currently under study in terms of names, calculation of periods, the financial amounts that the beneficiary will receive, among other things with a view to guaranteeing the precise rights of everyone, he said.
The decree encourages everyone to work harder to return the favour to His Highness Ruler of Sharjah, who works for the benefit of all and whose ongoing boosts necessitate all to do their utmost in return.
Bin Amer said so during a conversation with Mohammed Khalaf, Director General of Sharjah Broadcasting Authority on the Direct Line programme.
