Mohamed Al Hammadi, Acting Director-General of the Emirates News Agency (WAM), met on Saturday in Rabat Fouad Arif, Director-General of the Maghreb Arab Press Agency (MAP), to explore avenues for strengthening cooperation and sharing expertise in the media sector.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed various aspects of bilateral cooperation, particularly in the field of artificial intelligence technologies, with the aim of developing innovative media content and enhancing digital media capabilities.
They also discussed mechanisms to expand the partnership between the two agencies to include journalist training, expertise exchange, and the development of high-quality digital content.
Al Hammadi and Arif affirmed the strong cooperative ties between the UAE and the Kingdom of Morocco, under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
In a statement to the Maghreb Arab Press Agency following the meeting, Al Hammadi said that his visit aims to explore new prospects for cooperation between the two agencies in producing innovative media content that keeps pace with the evolving media landscape.
