Sharjah gives 4-day ultimatum to owners of impounded vehicles to get it released

Sharjah City Municipality on Monday gave owners of impounded vehicles four days to complete the necessary procedures for their release before their vehicles are sold at a public auction.

This was announced on the municipality’s electronic platforms and official channels to owners of vehicles impounded for more than six months.

“Sharjah City Municipality calls on owners of vehicles that have been impounded for more than six months without completing the release procedures to report to the Control and Inspection Department in the industrial area 5 within four days to clear their pending fines and collect their impounded vehicles,” the municipality stated on its social media accounts.

“If the owners of impounded vehicles fail to check the status of their vehicles within the aforementioned period, the municipality will take legal action including selling the impounded vehicles at a public auction,” it added.
