UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan held a phone call on Saturday with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during which they discussed the strategic relations between the two countries and ways to further strengthen ties for the benefit of their peoples.
During the call, Sheikh Mohamed expressed his condolences to the Indian Prime Minister over the victims of the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, and wished a swift recovery for the injured.
Sheikh Mohamed also reaffirmed the UAE’s rejection of terrorism in all its forms, describing it as a threat to security and stability in society and to international peace and security.
For his part, Modi thanked Sheikh Mohamed for his condolences and the sincere sentiments expressed towards India and its people while wishing the UAE continued progress and prosperity.
