flydubai will announce the resumption of its flights to Syria in coming weeks, the airline CEO Ghaith Al Ghaith told media at Arabian Travel Market (ATM) in Dubai.
Al Ghaith, CEO of flydubai, said: "The carrier is currently studying the operational details regarding its flights to Syria."
Al Ghaith added in press statements on the sidelines of the Arabian Travel Market 2025: "flydubai will announce its flight schedule to Syria in the coming weeks."
Earlier, flydubai welcomed the recent announcement by the General Civil Aviation Authority, which reflects the UAE's commitment to strengthening air connectivity in the region. The airline confirmed that it continues to coordinate and work closely with the relevant authorities, and that any measures related to the resumption of flights to Syria will be announced once all necessary preparations and approvals are completed.
It is noteworthy that Syrian Airlines resumed flights to Dubai International Airport in early April, with a flight arriving from Damascus International Airport, marking the return of direct flights between Syria and the UAE.
