Expo 2020 Dubai

Dubai has played an enormous role in shaping its citizenry for the future. Having resided in Dubai for most of my life I can strongly vouch for the progress the city has made in the last couple of years – technologically and otherwise. The planning process in the country is prudently analyzed, researched and with a sophisticated back-support system major projects out here have turned out to be a success (“Expo 2020 Dubai to highlight new investment opportunities,” Aug. 25, Gulf Today).

The Expo 2020 Dubai has already become a huge draw for many countries that are focused on pioneering ideas which pave the way for innovation and progress. Despite living under various restrictions due to the pandemic, we in Dubai are fortunate to be on track to make the event a grand success.

The theme of the Expo 2020 ‘connecting minds, creating the future’ carries a lot of relevance, and it’s we the public who can make a difference by supporting the country in its endeavours.

We hope the mega event will create a host of opportunities for young minds and give them a platform to shine and showcase their skills at a global level. Hopefully some may even break the glass ceiling, thereby leading to a better tomorrow.

Without doubt the event will be a celebration of human brilliance and achievement and a venue for people to connect from various walks of life. It will be a great venue to experience the best of art, culture, travel, science, technology, innovation, and invention. Something that will leave a lasting influence in our lives.
