The Abu Dhabi Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) has released a video on its social media account warning motorists of the dangers posed by delivery bike riders.
Failure to pay the fines will cause the vehicle to be sold in public auction, Abu Dhabi Police added.
The police said that accidents happened because motorists were paying attention to the road and the traffic in front of them.
The police pointed to the main reasons that lead to the occurrence of traffic accidents during the summer, which include the expiration of tyres, the lack or increase in air pressure in the tires, overloading and frequent use of long distances.
