India retained the Border-Gavaskar Trophy after beating Australia by 6 wickets in the second Test of a four-match series at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Sunday. It was the battle of skills between the two teams and Team India has managed to show better skills. Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja produced another match-winning performance to help India register a thumping win over Australia.
Jadeja took 7 wickets in the second innings and completely crippled Australia in the very first session. I am sure Team India will be happy with this victory, but batting for India is still a concern. I think Indian coach Rahul Dravid has to look into the matter and should come out with some remedy for poor batting performance by Indian batters. I am extremely happy to see Indian bowlers for putting their best effort.
In the first innings Mohammed Shami bowled brilliantly with R. Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja. Overall Team India is doing well under the leadership of Rohit Sharma. Hope they continue performing like this. Two more matches left for Team India. Let’s see how they march ahead from here.
