It’s a laudable action by the Fujairah Police who arrested motorists for driving recklessly in a way that jeopardised road users and caused damage to public property. Motorists who drive their vehicles recklessly desire heavy punishment because they put others’ lives in utter danger (“Motorists arrested for reckless driving and damaging public property in Fujairah,” Dec.25, Gulf Today website).

According to the report, the General Directorate of Fujairah Police arrested a number of motorists for driving recklessly in a way that put other road users at risk and caused damage to public property.

It’s a prime responsibility of residents of the UAE to obey the rules and regulations implemented by the Roads and Transport Authority, which are made to protect not only citizens but also motorists from any ill-fated incidents.

No one is above the law. Anyone who crosses the limit must face the punishment so in future he or she will be careful while driving.

I am sure the Fujairah Police action against reckless motorists will send a loud and clear message to others to be careful while driving.
