Future is bright

Babar Azam

I was very much excited about the T20 World Cup, but my team Pakistan seem to have missed the boat very early. Pakistan have lost their first match against the USA and then against India. I am shocked. I don’t know what went wrong with my team. Pakistani bowlers had managed to stop India on a very low total and I thought Pakistan can easily chase it down, but to my surprise Pakistan failed to win even this match. I had very high expectations from Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan. Both of them have been playing for a very long time and both of them are very experienced. Even Shadab Khan, Fakhar Zaman, Iftikhar Ahmed and Imad Wasim are very experienced and they all are stars, but they all failed to get going. I know cricket is a game of glorious uncertainty, and I don’t expect my team always to win. I just want a good fight at the end of the day. I hope Pakistan can learn from their experience and can come out with flying colours.  I hope under the leadership of PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, the team can find their winning momentum soon. I am a huge admirer of Mohsin and his leadership style. I think the future is bright for Pakistan team. I always believed tough times never last, but tough people do.
