Different parts of the country have been hit by heavy rains.

It’s such a heart-breaking news that a number of innocent people died in the Indian capital after heavy rain (“11 dead in Indian capital after heavy rain; flight operations stutter,” July1, Gulf Today website).

Climate change has made life worse more than ever. The new spell of heavy rain has wrecked havoc in Asian countries as the news emerged from the Indian capital that 11 people died after heavy rain following the number of death toll reported in Pakistan and Bangladesh due to heavy rain and flooding.

According to the report, the death toll from this week’s sudden heavy rain has climbed to 11 in New Delhi, including four citizens who drowned in submerged underpasses, the Times of India reported, while flight operations stuttered in the Indian capital. New Delhi, which endured one of its worst heatwaves in history earlier this month, faced the biggest downpour in decades on June 28, with rainfall in a single day surpassing the city’s average for the entire month.

Climate change needs to be addressed. Nothing is impossible in this world, if there’s a will, there’s a way. I am sure the world is fully capable of making a solid strategy and implementing it in its true spirit to tackle climate change and save the world from its disasters.
