The end of a long, hot summer’s day it is the perfect time to unwind with an enjoyable movie or two. This week we have compiled a nice little list of some feel-good romantic comedies to watch over the weekend.

“Mother of the Bride” has quite the star-studded cast that includes Brooke Shields, Miranda Cosgrove and Benjamin Bratt. Sheilds plays a mother whose daughter, played by Cosgrove, takes her by surprise by planning a last minute wedding in Thailand. As with all good rom-coms the plot is totally predictable, but that does not stop the film from being good.

Mostly set in London, the film “Upgraded” is a modern day version of the classic “Cinderella” fairytale. Camila Mendes plays an intern who’s working at an upscale art-auction company when she meets and tricks a man sitting next to her on a flight. Mendes tells the character, played by Archie Renaux, that she is actully the head of her company instead of an intern. The usual chaos and confusion ensues as we watch the lies fall apart. Marisa Tomei also stars in the film.

Speaking of summer, turn to our Health pages to read about the importance of sunscreen and the myths surrounding it. There is a lot of misinformation on social media about suncreen at the moment with some people believing it does more harm than good. According to the experts this is not only wrong but dangerous as we need sunscreen to protect us from the sun’s harmful UV rays.
