There are so many factors that contribute to the success of an album. Sometimes though, there are some albums which don’t really deserve the hype and recognition they have received. We know this is subjective, but we have picked out a few albums which we think are a bit overrated.

I don’t know many people who would agree with this one but Taylor Swift’s latest album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” is not her best work. I am by no means a Swiftie but judging by the comments of critics and people who know better it seems this album is not as good as Taylor’s earlier albums. Swift being in the middle of her hugely successful global Eras Tour definitely helped boost the sales of the album.

Coldplay is one of the most successful British bands ever to exist. While they have a huge fan base and hold sell-out concerts all over the world, their album “Parachutes” was not all it was cracked up to be. Compared to their other brilliant albums, this one is just not good. However, Coldplay will remain Coldplay and their fans will keep on buying their albums and enjoying their music.
