Schools in the UAE have re-opened on Monday morning after a long summer break and around 1.1 million pupils have returned to their classrooms. Movement of yellow buses and private cars carrying children to schools can be seen early in the morning. I too went to drop my children to school in Sharjah. I have been picking and dropping my children for almost 11 years and I am extremely appreciative over the fact that traffic is managed nicely everywhere in Sharjah and in the UAE. I have always found motorists very cooperative and patient when it comes to driving through school areas. Parents cooperate with each other, and respect fellow motorists. I appreciate Sharjah Police for making things very smooth for everyone during school hours. I have never ever faced any issues with driving through school areas in 11 years. I have never seen such discipline anywhere else, and full credit goes to Sharjah Police for managing it so nicely.
