I am a big admirer of social media. It is an amazing tool to get connected with friends. I am indebted to social media for helping me to get connected with my college friends after 24 years. I left my college in New Delhi in the year 2000. Internet and mobile phone had just arrived but were not easily available for common people. It was a costly affair then. So all those people who left college in 2000 could not keep in touch with their friends including me.

But search for my friends did not allow me to rest at all, so I kept searching on different social media platforms. To my surprise, I managed to get all my classmates back in a few months. Since the world has become a global village so almost everyone is scattered and settled down in different parts of the world. It was only social media which helped me retrieve all my contacts.  I got very excited to get back all my friends and classmates. It was amazing to see them after almost 24 years. Without social media, it would not have been possible to trace them after so many years. That’s why I love social media very much.
