I come from a South East Asian country. I come from a place where driving a vehicle has always been challenging and needs lots of effort to navigate through the city due to many factors. It needs lots of patience to drive around the city. But here in the UAE driving a car is like walking in the park. I had stopped driving my car in my home country, but when I came to the UAE I felt like driving again. So I enrolled myself in a driving school and got my licence a few years ago. Now I am enjoying my drive here after a long time. It is wonderful driving a car in this country. Traffic rules are well defined and cameras are everywhere to monitor motorists. Everybody here adheres to the rule. People here have respect for each other. In my country, the problem is that people start driving without having formal training and that’s why they don’t have proper understanding of rules and regulations.
Here in the UAE or even in the Western countries, learning to drive a car is a proper process where people enrol themselves in the school and learn the art of driving. I also went to a school in Sharjah where I was taught about rules and regulations first then got training for parking then on the road. It was a wonderful experience. No wonder, everybody drives vehicles sensibly here.
