Humanitarian aid

Hats off to the kind leadership of the United Arab Emirates who sent a 5th aid ship to Gaza carrying 5,112 tonnes of humanitarian aid supplies aimed at supporting the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, as part of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 (“UAE sends 5th aid ship to Gaza with 5,112 tonnes of relief supplies,” Oct.31, Gulf Today website).

According to the reports, the Joint Operations Command at the Ministry of Defence announced on Wednesday that the fifth UAE aid ship has departed from Hamriyah Port in Dubai, bound for the Egyptian city of Al Arish. As part of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, the UAE launched multiple projects, including establishing two field hospitals, one in Gaza and another (named the UAE Floating Hospital), as a floating facility off the coast of Al Arish.

The United Arab Emirates remains one of the top countries in the world sending humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip and ensuring that the relief supplies must reach the brothers and sisters in Gaza. People of Gaza are going through the hardest time of their lives and looking for aid for their survival. The world should follow the example of the United Arab Emirates and send humanitarian aid to Gaza till the Israel-Hamas war comes to an end.
