Great beginnings

The Pakistan cricket team is in Australia for the ODIs and T20 series. Under the leadership of Mohammad Rizwan, Pakistan lost its first one-day international on Monday by two wickets. This is the first outing for the new skipper, but I am happy to see the way the Pakistani team fought, till the end of the match. It was not at all an easy chase for Australia. I am indeed happy to see the new Pakistani side. They all looked great on the field with lots of energy. It is wonderful to see Shaheen Shah Afridi and Haris Rauf coming back into great form after a long time. I am sure with time they will improve a lot.

I too am very optimistic for Rizwan. He will definitely do the magic with his unique leadership skill and bring laurels for his team soon. He just needs time to assemble his pool of talented players. People are waiting to see how the new captain inspires his team, but I have faith in his leadership style. He is a born leader. I have seen him as a captain in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) and I am sure he will leave an impact as a skipper.
