When it comes to the music world, it does not get any bigger than the annual Grammy Awards. This week we are taking a look at the recently announced Grammy nominations for 2025 which include an impressive line-up of female musicians in the top categories.

Sabrina Carpenter is considered a newcomer to the Grammys and has impressed everyone by receiving six nominations including record of the year and best new artist. Her album “Short n’ Sweet,” which is her sixth solo album, has been climbing the charts since its release earlier this year. Chappell Roan is another new artist with six nominations and she will be competing with Carpenter in multiple categories including album of the year and best new artist.

Ever since the nominations were released there has been so much talk about Taylor Swift with her six nominations and Beyoncé with her whopping 11 nods. The two will face each other in several categories and there is no doubt that their huge fanbases will be supporting each of them for wins. Interestingly, this is the first time the two have both been nominated for album of the year since 2010.
