Further to the latest news published on banning mobile phones for students in school, which is a commendable step. During my time we never even dreamt of a mobile phone. Fully relied on books, guides were absolutely fun with not much to think. Try to reckon high school students carrying heavy registers to school with some walking to school even those days.
These days when parents leave their kids to school it is the school that has to be responsible right from the time the student boards the buses.
If the schools are trustworthy why would parents even worry about their children? To cut straight to the chase, if parents are apprehensive whether kids have reached the school then the schools need to have a system where parents collect a message. Kids don’t need to live on smart phones in school wasting time fiddling and flicking with it. Yes, technology has developed but to a certain extent as students’ needs to ascertain and use the minds to learn. The bookish learning these days is getting diminished with everything going hi-tech.
