Big mistake

This has reference to the news that President Biden has permitted Ukraine to deploy long-distance missiles, Atacms, supplied by the USA, in the interiors of Russia. This is a serious mistake. It will escalate the Russia-Ukraine war.
President Biden is handing over his job to Donald Trump in about two months. He should have refrained from any decision that may aggravate the situation. The world could be hurtled towards a major conflagration or World War III, by same hasty moves. Global leaders need to be discreet, when there is so much at stake.
The Western countries are over-anxious about President Putin’s designs in Ukraine. Quite simply, Putin does not want Ukraine to join the European Union or NATO. They need a blunt and frank chat with Putin. Boycotting him or Russia will not solve any problem. It will aggravate the situation, escalate the war and result in more orphans and widows. Instead of criticising Russia all the time, it’s the need of the hour to explore how to resolve the imbroglio. This is a time to think, not merely act.
