Festive season

There’s so much and about happening in the town and December is surely the season to be jovial and one of my favourites with Christmas falling in the middle of this interim.The Dubai Shopping Festival is just getting bigger and better with each impression. It kickstarted in 1996 and has grown vastly since then. During my high school time I used to mesmerise every bit hopping in the malls with my brother for shopping.

One of the splendid times for shopping lovers like me to grab those exotic deals and discounts. Moreover, the city will be decked up in festive gear for the festival and the new year. To make it more enchanting there will also be festivities all around and special events to mark the month of joy: fireworks, pop-up fashion shows, raffle draws, concerts, and plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained and occupied.

Of course, one cannot miss the Global Village, one of the world’s largest tourism lures and a place that amuses public of all ages and cultural backgrounds. It is a venue well known for its hospitality, warmth, and affable service. Every pavilion is phenomenal and brings the best of each country to us in the UAE.Dubai Shopping Festival and Global Village lend a special allure to this beautiful city, and it is not just us, the residents, who enjoy these two signature events but people from all over. As the city is adorned with lights during this season this is the festival that is much loved by millions. Now that the weather is pleasant it’s time to don the winter gear and revel. So, get going.
